"Udatsu", the inn with landscape <paysage>
Beautiful streetscapes of "Udatsu" which have been passed down from the Edo period in Mima City, Tokushima Prefecture, the land of Nishiawa. A hotel with only 5 guest rooms in a renovated private house built in 1881 by Moriguchi.

It was renovated in contemporary and simple style. But the feel of a private house is exactly “paysage”. With the scenery of Mima piled up the history.
During the Edo period, "Udatsu" was popularly set up as a roof decoration and a fire wall for merchant houses in Kinki region. The beautiful streetscapes of Mima City with Udatsu, have been selected as the National Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings.
